WHEN I SAY I AM A "CHRISTIAN"

When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not shouting, "I am saved!" I'm whispering, "I get lost; That is why I chose this way."
When I say, "I am a Christian," I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble And need Someone to be my Guide.
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak, And pray for strength to carry on.
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed And cannot ever pay the debt.
When I say, "I am a Christian," I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are all too visible, But God believes I'm worth it.
When I say, "I am a Christian," I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, Which is why I speak His name.
When I say, "I am a Christian," I do not wish to judge. I have no authority; I only know I'm loved.

"If I have told you eartly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifeted up, "that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlating life. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. JOHN 3:1-21

Let me tell you about a good friend of mine. You know it's kinda funny though, our relationship that is! When things are going good, money's comeing in you know life is going good. I start to go blind you could say I don't see my friend all that much. Let me tell you a little about my friend. My parents introduced Him to me at a young age. I've known him on and off ever since and thats funny because He has known me my whole life. When I don't see Him He see's me, when I don't want Him He wants me, when things happen I don't really understand and I hate Him He loves me! You know something else about Him HE DIED FOR ME! He was perfect in every way yet He was nailed to a cross and Died so you and I can live. I don't know about you but who could ask for a better friend than JESUS CHRIST? All you have to do is Pray to God and admit your a sinner that you can't make it on your own and then Just truly believe that Jesus Died for the forgivness of your sins and that He rose from the Dead and is alive now in Heaven at the Right hand Of the Father and understand that just because you are saved does not mean it's alright to sin once you truly accept Jesus in your heart you will want to live a life pleasing to God even though you will still sin because we are HUMAN don't give up just keep your Faith in Jesus Christ and everything will be OK!

The Bible tells us that if we are Christians, not just by name, but if we have really truly by faith accepted the blood of Jesus as our sacrifice for our sin, if we have confessed and forsaken our sins and repented of them, it tells us, dear friend, that on the books our sins are blotted out. They are forgiven. When those books are gone over, Jesus who pleads His blood in the heavenly sanctuary above says, "Father, my blood, he's accepted me as his saviour. He's confessed and repented of his sins and by my grace has walked the way of obedience. Father, he is just." That man is judged as being fit for heaven. If He comes to one whose sins are not confessed or forgiven and blotted out by the blood of Jesus, his sins stand, and that individual is judged worthy of death. The important thing is that we know that Jesus is our Advocate and not our judge. O, that's the vital thing. If Jesus's blood is on the door-post of our hearts, if His blood covers our sins, then Jesus is our lawyer, our defender, our advocate before the judgment bar. He pleads our case. He is our High Priest. He wants to save us. But, if we have neglected His great salvation- His life sacrifice O then, He is our judge to destroy us. How serious it is. The question comes to us tonight- Will we be covered with the blood of Jesus when our name comes up or will we trust in our own righteousness and be found wanting, lost for eternity? The judgment is set. The books have been opened. Tonight the heavenly sanctuary is being cleansed. Tonight they are making decisions for eternal life and eternal death. Is the blood covering your record of sin?

There was this man on death row and the day was here for his execution, he spent the afternoon crying and asking the guard, why hasn't the governor answer my plea for a pardon. As night drew near the steel doors to death row rolled open slowly the prisoner had his ears pressed hard against the bars to try to see who was coming he heard the foot steps slowly getting louder and louder. Then a man dressed in black with a black Book tucked btween his arm and his body. And he began to speak "young man I would like to tell you about....." Then the prisoner shouted SHUT UP!! I am so sick of talking to you preachers just go away, Gaurd get him out of here!! So the preacher looked at the gaurd then back at the prisoner and turned away and slowly walked out. As soon as the steel doors locked the prisoner broke out crying again and asked the guard why hasn't the governor got back to me about my pardon? The gaurd looked at him and said.. "young man the governor just left and he tried to give you your pardon!!.......UnKnown
